We are Josh & Megan.

We met in 2004 at a small, private college in central New York. We were both scholar-athletes with scholarships to play our respective sports(basketball and baseball), so fitness and health have always been common passions we’ve shared. Over the last nearly two decades, seven children, and more serious life challenges than we can count, our priorities have transformed repeatedly. We’re now passionate about raising our children, serving God and others, and doing our very best to show our children what it looks like to live strong, faith-filled, healthy lives in every way.

Megan was originally an early childhood educator, but quit her job to begin homeschooling our children and running a small business online after the birth of our 3rd child in 2010. In 2015, after the birth of our 5th child, she went back to school and became a multi-certified doula through Stillbirthday International. She’s been working as an independent doula, supporting families during pregnancy and birth in all trimesters, as well as postpartum since then.

Over the last 15 years, Megan has gained and lost over 300 pounds, and has been able to heal profound diastasis recti and pelvic organ prolapse without surgical intervention, so she deeply understands many of the health challenges women commonly face. After the birth of our 7th child in 2020, she went back to school again to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in women’s fitness, as well as prenatal exercise and postpartum recovery with a special interest in helping women heal from diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction. She has additional certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in virtual training.

Josh was originally a pre-med major, then changed directions several times before deciding to step away from college to start working full time and decide what he was truly interested in pursuing as a career. After working several years at minimum wage jobs and feeling the financial weight of providing for a family, he decided to go back to school full time to pursue a degree in Computer Forensics while continuing to work full time. He continued working that path with intensity while helping raise his children and support Megan’s homeschooling and small business until he ultimately graduated with a Masters degree in Information Security in 2017. Josh is deeply devoted to his wife, children, and faith, and has been passionate about sports performance and strength training for more than 30 years. He is pursuing his certification in Personal Training.
